Privacy policy
Information we collect
When you order, we collect your name, surname, email address, phone number, delivery address or PostNet branch, and your selected products, colours and quantities. Staff accounts also have an email address and access permissions.
Why we use it
We use your details to process payments, fulfil orders, arrange delivery, provide order support, prevent fraud and meet applicable record-keeping obligations. When order emails are enabled, your checkout email will receive receipts and delivery updates, not marketing messages.
Payments and service providers
Paystack processes payments; we do not store card numbers or card security codes. Lovable Cloud hosts the shop’s order records. Delivery details are shared with PostNet or the selected courier when needed to fulfil your order. Google Maps handles address searches you open. These providers may process information outside South Africa under their own privacy terms.
Your bag and FAQ conversation
Your browser stores product selections so your bag survives navigation. Customer delivery details are not stored with that bag. Staff sign-in uses browser session storage managed by our login service. Questions sent to the FAQ assistant are processed by our AI service to answer you; the shop does not save a chat history. Avoid sharing card details or other sensitive information in chat. Opening WhatsApp shares only the message you choose to send.
Access and retention
Order records are restricted to authorised staff and used only for shop operations. We keep personal information for as long as needed to fulfil orders, resolve disputes and comply with applicable legal obligations. No online service can guarantee complete security.
Your rights
Under South Africa’s Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA), you may request access to or correction of your personal information, object to certain processing, or request deletion where legal retention obligations do not apply.
